The number 11 strikes a balance between faith and physics validating differences, diminishing polarity, welcoming in the seen and unseen where our souls may surrender to truth in the grace of existence.

Eleven represents interconnection, a new number, without diminishing the wholeness of the number one or merging into two, they co-create a new space between them. In between the 1 and the 1 there is space. For each individual to meet in the middle, come together and connect.

We meet in in that space in between, when we are just being and remember who we are, just human.

In Astrology the 11th House is groups agreements, collective hopes and wishes.

In Recovery programs the 11th step is ‘Sought through prayer and mediation to maintain conscious contact with our Higher Power, we understand him…”

We are all in recovery, peeling away the layers of life that were once needed for survival, yet have become to heavy, harmful and keep us from being ourselves. When we are fully in the moment, capable of being present with what is, we shine. No matter what, we know we matter.

Project 11, Co-Created by Alysa Osvog Certified Yoga Therapist, inspired to bring the benefits of yoga and mediation beyond typical studio walls into Treatment Centers, Prisons and Underprivileged Communities.

By removing the stigma around yoga being a posh  gymnastics or preconceived notions of mediation being serious, uncomfortable or hard, Project 11 just delivered the goods and met the students where they were. Empowering each student to make it their own, emphasizing little ways to feel safe and encouraging them to discover that space within themselves.

Especially considerate of unresolved trauma, where just closing the eyes can be terrifying let alone being forced in strange shapes or commanded to breathe in awkward ways. It was imperative to give students back their control, to move, feel, think and be with their own sense of self.

In addition to Movement and Mediation, Writing classes were introduced in therapeutic settings as a healing form of release. Gateless Writing is a proven method based on brain science to nurture the creative genius through positive reinforcement, silencing the inner critic who has no place in true healing. We begin with community chat, guided meditation that leads into writing prompt, free flow and share. Students are encouraged to express words without being analyzed, rather validated and recognized that every voice has a right to be heard. The practice is fun, inspiring and boosts confidence on the page and in life.

Our online offerings meet curious souls seeking a bit more out of their screen time.

In the same way music transcends space and time, so do awareness practices. In the comfort of our own space we can still show up, and feel a sense of connection to the same energy in a different way. Especially in creating new habits, routines and making it personal. It is awesome opportunity to set a schedule around the the same new and full moon we all share. Why not pay respect to nature and plan around something that is actually predicable, for everyone everywhere willing to set aside a moment to be together in that precious space in-between.

We are all here to teach and learn…

Project 11 is inspired by quality teachers that make us feel safe. They earn our trust, we follow their guidance and ultimately discover our own practice. Online we have access to an overwhelming amount of free fitness videos, yoga lessons, meditation guides and self-empowerment programs. With deepest gratitude Project-11 is a co-creation of real deal teachers, who are grounded, unique and embody undeniable wisdom.

I took the Project-11 certification to teach in treatment centers, what I learned was how to handle any situation with confidence. Alysa gets into the nitty gritty of what happens in this type of setting, allows us to feel the discomfort and then generously gives us tools to navigate through, gracefully. Since, my classes have not only improved my teaching, yet I know my students benefit as well! I appreciate her ability to go into the shadow sides without sugar coating some love and light, rather being with it through the practice, and the lights turn on ;) “
