Why Yoga and Meditation?  Yoga is a personal connection between the feeling body, thinking mind and energy awareness. In early recovery in 2012, I was so locked up with emotions and very resistant to talk therapy, I found yoga helped me open up, release and became a vital catalyst for my sustainable sobriety. I pursued an education in Yoga Therapy and learned about Somatic Experiencing, how we store emotions in our joints and tissues, Neuroplasticity, how the brain rewires new pathways of healing and compiled evidence to support 'Yoga as a Treatment Tool for Addiction'. I led trainings to effectively teach teachers how to bridge yoga into therapeutic settings, called ‘Shadow to Seva' and worked as a full-time teacher for over a decade. I currently accept virtual clients for energy sessions and make cameo appearances in resorts, retreat centers and studios in my favorite spots around the world. Foremost I am a student, dedicated to my personal practice and non-negotiable morning meditations.

Why Writing- I was called to write, as a child I scribbled in my Hello Kitty diary and through the grips of addiction poured out illegible pain on the pages. I fell in love with the power of the written word in 2015, enrolled In Suzanne Kingsbury's Gateless Academy and thrived in her brilliant methodology. Fascinated by ways to move myths from the mind into a healing art and began teaching others how to unleash their creative genius. I believe creativity is connecting with the Divine, and the art of writing is more about the journey than the destination. I am honored to teach this form of freedom in therapeutic settings as well as private coaching. I recently completed a novel, polishing two memoirs that will be shopping the literary world soon…

Who is in recovery-  We are all in recovery from something, layers of life that dull our light. We wear masks as a means of survival or mere amusement until they become too heavy causing physical limitations. emotional pain or manifest into addictions that simply no longer work. The process of recovery is personal to discover ways to peel off these layers, remove the masks to connect back with ourselves. In my experience Yoga, Mediation and Writing help, take ownership of our shadows, validate our dark, so we are capable revealing our true light.
